Tues Aug 31, 2021: four local residents have tested positive to COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. All four cases are linked to previously notified cases.
Two of the cases were in isolation while infectious and two have been infectious in the community.
There have now been 61 local cases of COVID-19 since the start of the current outbreak. One previously reported COVID-19 case has been added to the Central Coast LHD total.
The following Central Coast locations have been identified as exposure sites. Anyone who attended these venues on the dates and times listed is a casual contact. Casual contacts must immediately get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result even if they have had a test in recent days:
- Aldi, Wyoming (489 Pacific Highway, Wyoming)
- o Thursday 26 August, 5.10pm to 5.35pm
- Bowen’s Pharmacy, Wyoming Shopping Centre (cnr Pacific Highway and Kinarra Avenue, Wyoming)
- o Saturday 28 August, 2.45pm to 3pm
