Katrina Hardie a police role model

Senior Constable Katrina Hardie is a role model for junior police and a great advertisement for policing in general.

That is why, among other reasons, Tuggerah Lakes Police District Commander, Superintendent Chad Gillies, named her Champion of the Month for December.

Each month an employee from the District is recognised for their outstanding contribution to the workplace and the broader community and Snr Const Hardie has been acknowledged and presented with a ‘challenge coin’.

“Kat is an experienced and valued GDs operative,” Supt Gillies said.

“She has recently put her hand up to expand her knowledge and experience as the Education Officer back-up and is a perfect fit for this role.

“Apart from a number of Kat’s colleagues continually providing positive feedback, it is clear that Kat turns up each day and gets on with the work.

“She is a positive and pleasant person, which is exactly what is needed in any workplace, and this is even more important in the stressful and challenging policing environment.

“Kat is a role model for junior police and a great advertisement for policing in general, but particularly on the Central Coast.”
