Speedway Kart Club achieves ten national podium places

Central Coast Speedway Kart Club has recently produced outstanding results at National level.
The Central Coast Speedway Kart Club (CCSKC), based at Gosford Showground, had 23 members compete in the Australian Speedway Kart Titles at Kurri Kurri recently.
Of those 23 competitors, 10 were successful in gaining a podium spot, with three Australian Champions crowned.
The champions are, Blaxx Caton (Cadet 9), James Angilley (Cadet 12), and, Jason Bisset (KT Mod Heavy), snaring the prized #1 Australian plate.
Joey Bisset (Cadet 9), Joel Buettel (Cadet 12), and Troy King (KT Mod Heavy), achieved second places.
Mark Angilley (Cadet 9), Max Bevan (Cadet 12), Shane Gutsch-Berry (KT Mod Heavy), and Steve Hosie, placed third in their categories.
Overall, the club recorded a whopping 43.4 per cent of the podium places over Titles weekend, a remarkable achievement in the national arena.
CCSKC races once a month at Gosford Showground with competitors ranging from seven to 57 years of age.
Race days are held in both day and night conditions and are conducted in strict accordance with Karting Australia rules.
