A critical care medical team was flown in to Wadalba by Westpac Rescue Helicopter on Sunday, April 7, for a medical emergency.
NSW Ambulance called in the chopper team at about 3:30pm after a man aged in his 60s collapsed and sustained an injury in a serious medical episode.
He was treated by paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.
