Brisbane Water Police are appealing for assistance from the public following the discovery of a clandestine drug-making laboratory at a property in Gosford.

On Monday, September 18, 2023, Police attached to the Brisbane Water Drug and Anti-Theft Unit attended a unit on Beane St, Gosford, following a concern for the welfare of the occupants.

Police forced entry to the unit where they uncovered an active clandestine laboratory within the unit.

Police found drug-making apparatus

The unit was processed by specialist police attached to the State Crime Commands Drug and Firearms Squad – (Chemical Operations Team) with several exhibits and an amount of methylamphetamine inside.

Brisbane Water Police are seeking information from the public in regard to any information surrounding the unit to contact Brisbane Water Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote case number C78472013.
