As the new year gets underway, Federal Member for Robertson Gordon Reid has extended his best wishes to Coast Community News readers.
“My partner Shaylee and I wish the people of the Central Coast a happy new year and safe holiday period for 2024,” Reid said.
“Being your strong voice in Canberra, I will continue to represent our region as part of a Federal Labor Government, addressing the important issues and working to deliver great outcomes for the Central Coast community, alongside my federal and state colleagues.
“I am pleased the region’s two Medicare Urgent Care Clinics are now open and treating walk-in patients for urgent but not life-threatening issues, all bulk billed.
“The Federal Labor Government also invested over $2M into strengthening general practices in 2023, helping build greater capacity in primary care on the Coast.
“The multi-million-dollar Avoca Drive upgrade through Kincumber will continue to progress in 2024, and I look forward to updating our community as this project takes shape.
“This year, I am looking forward to meeting with more of our community.
“I will be hosting more mobile offices, door knocking and being involved with community events.
“My office can help with all federal government matters, and I encourage the community to get in touch for any assistance.”
