Changed traffic conditions on Macdonalds Road Lisarow

Macdonalds Road

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from Monday 26 September on Macdonalds Road at Lisarow to progress work on the Pacific Highway duplication project.

Macdonalds Road will be closed to all through traffic near its intersection with Tuggerah Street during the NSW school holidays, from Monday 26 September to Sunday 9 October.

The road closure is required for the installation of stormwater drainage near the intersection of Macdonalds Road and Tuggerah Street.

Motorists will be detoured via Macdonalds Road, Nexus Way and The Ridgeway to access the Pacific Highway. Tuggerah Street will remain open to traffic during this work.

A temporary 40 km/h reduced speed limit will be in place through the work zone for the safety of motorists and workers. The detour may add up to five minutes travel time.

The changes are required for the safety of all road users and workers as building work continues on the Pacific Highway duplication. Transport for NSW has consulted emergency services, Central Coast Council, and other service providers in planning for the temporary closure.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
