“We’re located at Peel St, Toukley next to the Marine Rescue Centre and train late afternoon on Wednesday as well as Sunday mornings on Budgewoi Lake.

“After a short five years in the sport I have had the opportunity to compete in Hong Kong, Singapore, the Gold Coast and Adelaide as well as Regatta’s all over NSW, I am now the Club Captain.

“Previously being a Rugby player, I am stoked that I still get to compete in sport in my 50s,” she said.

Central Coast Dragon Boat Club has just held its AGM and with a COVID Safe Plan approved, is ready for a new season.

“We will be holding some Learn to Paddle Sessions over November and December and are offering five sessions free of charge.
