Second COVID case confirmed on Central Coast

[Sunday Dec 20, 2020] A second active COVID-19 case was identified on the Central Coast today by the Central Coast Local Health District.

Central Coast Local Health District is providing care and support to a second Central Coast resident who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

They are currently at home in self isolation, where health staff will undertake daily wellness checks.

This case is linked to the Avalon Cluster. It poses NO extra risk to our community.

However it’s possible there are more undetected cases on the Central Coast, so please be vigilant!

If you have ANY symptoms, you must get immediately tested and then self-isolate…

Gosford Hospital is open between 9am and 5pm on weekdays, and 10am and 4pm on weekends. Call 4320 5055 before you arrive.

Wyong Hospital opening hours:  9am to 5pm daily

People are encouraged to phone ahead to book an appointment.  While walk-ins are accepted, bookings help us to reduce waiting time. Call 4394 9200 before you arrive if possible.

Woy Woy Hospital, Ocean Beach Road (next to the kiosk) Opening hours: 8.00am to 4.30pm. Appointments are not needed for this clinic.

Central Coast Primary Care Erina clinic at EV Church Erina is open between 9am and 4pm on weekdays, and 10am and 2pm on weekends.
