A Woy Woy doctor has been praised for his services to medicine as a neurosurgeon, which resulted with recognition in the Queens Birthday Honours list.
Dr Michael Briggs works from Brisbane Waters Private Hospital and received an Order of Australia Medal in the general division. Hospital chief executive Ms Kathy Beverley said staff were delighted to see Dr Briggs recognised for his contributions to health.
It is an honour to have Michael on our team, Ms Beverley said.
