Gorokan High School students raised over $1,200 through their Pink Day fundraiser.
Held each year in August, pink Day is the school’s annual fundraiser in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
As the name suggests, the school was awash with pink as students and staff donned breast cancer charity’s chosen colour for a gold coin donation to show their support for the cause.
A number of activities were also held to help raise funds on the day, including a ‘slime the teacher’ sponge toss and a decorative pink cake display (featured).
