After a four year gap, Central Coast Stadium will again host a Christmas Carols event.
Star 104.5 and Central Coast Stadium have announced that this year, Carols will be back in Gosford, on December 21, and they will be bigger and better than ever.
Central Coast Carols will make this premium Central Coast landmark its new home and will be making a difference in the fight against cancer at the same time.
Every dollar from ticket sales will be donated to Cancer Council NSW Central Coast to support local cancer patients and their families.
Ms Jaynie Moloney, Cancer Council’s Community Relations Coordinator, said that it is a fantastic way to spread joy at Christmas time.
“Christmas is a time for family and giving, and we are so pleased that our amazing community can come together for a fantastic family event, and support local cancer patients,” she said.
Hosted by Star’s breakfast team, Rabbit and Julie Goodwin, featuring a line-up of local talent, national headliners, fireworks and of course Santa, the event promises to bring Christmas joy to a stadium filled with families.
Always big fans of the festive season, Rabbit and Julie Goodwin are delighted to be involved in this community event once again.
“We know that families want to enjoy an evening of carols that is easy and entertaining and we have just that.
“It’s a huge honour and so exciting to bring Carols back to the Stadium.
“We’ve sent word to Santa that the venue has changed and have heard he’s pretty happy about it too.
“He’s even going to join us on stage,” Ms Goodwin said.
Over 3,500 people attended the first year of Star 104.5’s Central Coast Carols in the scenic Mt Penang Parklands.
The event was born of a partnership between Star 104.5 and the Cancer Council and is one that offers an authentic night of carols featuring invited guests like Paulini, Jason Owen and Greg Gould.
