UPDATE:
12 pm Friday, 6 September 2025, police located the body of a man during a search of bushland in Wondabyne.
While yet to be formally identified, the body is believed to be that of the missing man.

Detectives have renewed their appeal for information and wish to speak with a group of hikers who might have seen a man missing from the Central Coast.
Brandyn Pahr, aged 18, was last seen in Strand Ave, Narara about 9pm on Thursday, August 14.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Brandyn’s welfare.
He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, with grey trackpants, sneakers, a beanie, and a grey and light blue backpack.
Following further inquiries, detectives have released CCTV of a group of hikers who might have seen Brandyn after he was reported missing.
The group exited a train at Wondabyne train station on Sunday, August 17, before walking towards the Great North Walk at about 10.07am.

The group might have information that could help detectives locate Brandyn.
