Wyong racecourse is set for major improvements

As Wyong Race Club celebrates its 150th anniversary, it is also setting its sights firmly on the future with a significant capital works program rolling into the 2025/2026 financial year.

Over the past two years, the club has invested more than $3M in improvements to the Wyong Race Course, with support from Racing NSW, including a $623,000 contribution toward drainage and irrigation works.

In the current financial year (2023/24), $1M has been allocated to upgrades, with a further $1.4M planned for 2024/25.

“The Wyong Race Club’s capital works program undertaken has been extensive, diverse and continues,” CEO Greg Purcell said.
