In June 2024 officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District commenced an investigation into alleged National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) fraud incidents on the Central Coast.
On Thursday, May 1, 2025 officers attached to Tuggerah Lake Police District executed a search warrant at a unit on Wairoa Ave, North Bondi, where a 53-year-old man was arrested.
It will be alleged the man defrauded $715,000 between 2019 and 2023.
During a search of the unit, police allegedly located and seized several documents, records, and electronic storage devices.
The man was taken to Waverley Police Station where he was charged on three counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage etc by deception.
About freaking time!. We need to weed out these fraudsters and make then repay all the monies stolen from taxpayers.
And send them back to where they started.
