Lake Haven cinema temporarily closed

Metro Cinemas Lake Haven

Metro Cinemas Lake Haven has been temporarily closed due to a water pressure issue.

Metro Cinemas announced on March 4 that fire protection consultants have determined the water pressure servicing the cinema complex is inadequate for the complex’s sprinkler system to function properly.

“Accordingly, for the safety of our customers and staff the cinema complex will be temporarily closed until the water pressure issue can be resolved and fire protection services fully restored,” a spokesperson said.

“Metro Cinemas is working with Central Coast Council, the property owner, and the supplier of water to the cinema complex to resolve this issue.

“Unfortunately, at this stage we do not know when adequate water pressure will be restored, and the cinema reopened.

“We look forward resolving this issue and welcoming customers back to Metro Cinemas.”
