A man was refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court following a stabbing at Killarney Vale.
At about 2.40pm on Monday, November 20, emergency services were called to Avery St, Killarney Vale, following reports a man had been stabbed.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District arrived to find a 55-year-old man with neck injuries.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition.
Police arrested a 36-year-old man at the scene and he was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (domestic violence), wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and custody of knife in public place – first offence.
