A five-year-old girl was taken to John Hunter Hospital on Sunday afternoon, October 1, after being hit by a car at Woongarrah.
Toll Rescue Helicopter was called in to assist NSW Ambulance in the emergency incident.
The chopper landed on playing fields in Hakone Rd and after being assessed by the medical team from Toll Rescue, the girl was transported by road to hospital for further medical treatment.
Earlier in the week, on the morning of Thursday, September 28, the Toll Rescue helicopter was called to help emergency services at Kincumba Mountain.
A person, who was injured during a fall off a mountain bike and went over a ledge, was winched out with a paramedic and loaded on to the helicopter which took the patient to Royal North Shore Hospital.
