Annual book fair at Budgewoi

Volunteers set up for the book fair

There will be thousands of pre-loved books on offer at the annual Book Fair and Fete to be held at Halekulani Hall on Saturday, October 7.

The fair is the largest annual fundraiser for the 100 per cent volunteer-run Halekulani Community Library.

Books on offer will include novels from every genre as well as books on Australiana, biographies, children’s books, fantasy, general fiction, mystery, romance, sci-fi, sport, true crime, war chronicles and westerns.

There will also be reference books on cars, cooking, crafts, gardening, wellbeing and much more.

This year, in addition to the books on sale, there will be locally homemade cakes, potted plants and cuttings for sale and free live music at the front of the hall.
