I really do get a little sickened when I pick up your paper and read self backslapping by the Central Coast Council Administrator and his CEO; when I hear them telling us ratepayers how well they are doing or have done turning around our financial position and how grateful he is we have done it together.
Let’s be frank here: this lot dug us out of a financial hole by ramping up rates and not doing some of the maintenance work they should have done in a timely manner.
And I won’t get into the delayed administration of services like development applications.
Self praise is no recommendation I’m afraid.

it seems the answer to being caught wasting obscene amounts of ratepayers money is to bring someone in to levy obscene increases from the same ratepayers. Easy
