The Rotary Club of Gosford has donated $15,500 to Gosford Hospital, to be used to buy an electronic Bladder Scanner for the operating theatres.
The donation was recently accepted by Jan Richens of Corporate Communications and Dhakal Clinical Nurse Specialist, Kavita Acharya.
Gosford Rotary President, Neville Barrett, said the funding is much needed to provide the state-of-the-art equipment, which will provide enormous patient and health professional benefits, particularly in the post operative recovery areas.
“Currently, operating theatre post operative units don’t have access to specific, single designation equipment such as this,” he said.
