Still waiting for mobile phone coverage

Often one hears of remote areas of Australia dealing with poor mobile phone reception.

Here at Killcare, part of Greater Sydney and a bushfire prone area where reliable mobile coverage is an essential, we reliably experience a miserable zero to one-bar reception.

Despite the promise from local federal member, Lucy Wicks, that all would be resolved by the first quarter of 2021, may I remind her that it is now the first quarter of 2022, and we’re still waiting.

This mob seem to talk the talk but struggle to walk the walk.

I totally agree! Lucy Wicks promised a new mobile tower would be built when she was campaigning fir the 2016 election but here we are in 2022 and still nothing. I do realise that some residents near the proposed site of the tower have objected to it but Lucy Wicks has simply walked away from the matter.
