Election to fix all ills

PEP11 Surfrider protest 2021 at Terrigal

Given that a politician’s promises are not worth the paper that they’re written on (“Seeking proof of intentions on PEP-11”, Forum, CCN 324), it would appear that the only way to stop the unwanted PEP-11 development is to stop the government itself.

We’ll have our chance when the PM deems it a politically favourable time to call an election.

Of course, he’ll be hoping for better figures on the COVID front; why else would the rules regarding tests and isolation be changed?

They are straight from the Trump ploy of reducing the number of tests in order to reduce the cases.
