77 local cases reported over weekend brings local tally past 1000

Monday Oct 11, 2021: A sum of 77 local COVID-19 cases have been reported by Central Coast Local Health District over the 72 hours to 8pm Sunday night. This brings the local case tally to 1041 since the delta outbreak occured in mid June this year.

Anyone who attended these venues on the dates and times considered is a casual contact. Casual contacts should immediately get a COVID test and isolate themselves until a negative result is received, even if you have had a test in recent days.

CCLHD is urging those eligible in the community to continue to come forward for vaccination. Everyone in Australia aged 12 and over is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination.
