A 42-year-old man faced Gosford Local Court on August 9 charged with murder after a fight at Narara on August 8.
Just after 6pm on August 8, emergency services were called to a home in Holcombe Ave following reports of a disturbance.
A man, aged 43, was found with a stab wound to his torso and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District established a crime scene and arrested a 42-year-old man.
He was charged with murder at Gosford Police Station and refused bail to appear in court on August 9.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.
