Strict COVID restrictions reintroduced for Central Coast

Adam Crouch in interview. Coronavirus update, Archive March 19, 2020.

To ensure that COVID-19 does not continue to spread beyond the Northern Beaches, the following restrictions are coming into place immediately:

  1. Household gatherings will be limited to 10 visitors. The one person per four square metre rule will be re-introduced for all indoor settings including hospitality venues and places of worship.

2. A cap of 300 people will apply for hospitality venues and places of worship.

3. Singing and chanting at indoor venues will not be allowed.

4. Dancefloors will not be permitted, except for weddings, where a maximum of 20 from the bridal party will be permitted.

These restrictions will remain in place until 11.59pm on Wednesday.

The Premier and Chief Health Officer will then make a decision about what COVID-19 restrictions are required for Christmas.

We’re all in this together… so please follow these new restrictions to keep yourself and others safe during these next few critical days.
