Wamberal Public School was awash with colour on August 28 as students celebrated Rainbow Day.
A fundraiser for children’s charity Stewart House, no colour was off limits as students embraced the rainbow theme, raising over $700 in the process.
Principal, Paul Miller, said the school was proud to be supporting such a worthy cause.
“Stewart House is one of the oldest and most respected children’s charities in NSW.
“It is an integrated residential care, school and health screening facility located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
“1700 children from NSW and ACT are nominated each year for the Stewart House program to have a break from their current circumstances.
“Our school raised over $700 for this highly respected organisation. What a fantastic effort from our families,” Miller said.
