Central Coast Division Junior Rugby League (CCDJRL) has confirmed that their season will kick off from July 18.

CCDJRL President, Ben Spackman, confirmed the restart date as well as the format that the season will take, via a public announcement on June 22.

“Now that we are back into training, clubs are enforcing COVID-19 restrictions and have done a lot of hard work behind the scenes to get back on the field.

“The competition will kick off on July 18 with some different rules for training and game days.

“These rules may change, as the situation is constantly changing, but for now, we all need to follow the rules.

“The competition will go for 10 rounds, finishing with the grand finals on October 10 and 11.

“The draw for the first three rounds will be out soon and please remember that it is subject to change.

“Game times will be modified and will have drinks breaks included, with trainers not allowed on the field during play.

“Things are changing constantly and hopefully we can get back to some type of normality, but until then, we need to stay COVID Safe by all parents, carers, spectators and participants, and ensure that we follow any instructions given by clubs at training and on game days so we can have an uninterrupted season,” Spackman said.
