Several NSW Fire and Rescue crews and Police were deployed to a building fire at The Greens in Warrigal St, The Entrance, overnight on Monday, March 2.
The fire was reported at about midnight and was also attended by specialist units from Newcastle.
Chief Executive Officer of Mingara Leisure Group, Paul Barnett, said on Tuesday morning that they were thankful that there was no one on the premises at the time of the fire and that the emergency services were able to extinguish the fire.
“We are currently investigating and working with the relevant authorities to assess the situation,” he said.
“During this time, the club will not trade temporarily and we will provide updates as more information becomes available.”
