Independent Councillor, Louise Greenaway, has called for the sale of the land that was to be home to the Chappie Pie China Time Theme Park at Warnervale.

When Central Coast Council meets on Monday, October 8, Greenaway will move for Councillors to request a report from the Chief Executive Officer, by November 26, in relation to listing for sale the 16 hectare site at 1 Warren Rd. She will also call upon her fellow Councillors to vote in favour of using the proceeds of sale for specific purposes, rather than having the monies paid into general revenue.

“The specific purposes will be subject to discussion and further resolution of Council,” Clr Greenaway’s notice of motion said. Greenaway’s motion also calls for the CEO’s report to recommend whether the land should be sold through expressions of interest, a tender process, sale at auction, or sale at market value. Mr Murphy’s report would also detail the estimated current market value, as determined by a valuation assessment.
