Real estate agency Central Element has won the Excellence in Regions Development Award, at the Urban Development Institute of Australia NSW for the Point Frederick property ‘Capri’.
Company Directors, Wayne and Nathan Chivas, grew up in Terrigal, and Development Manager, Dean Chivas, grew up in East Gosford. They said they enjoyed returning to the Coast to work on the project.
“The Coast is where Central Element started. “It was cool to come back, revitalise, and start developments in our hometown,” Nathan Chivas said.
“It’s a great outcome for a development on the Coast to be recognised by the Urban Development Institute,” he added.
“The connection to the award is quite exciting, because we won in the NSW Regions category, and it’s exciting to see the Coast recognised as a growing region,” he said.
The building design was intended to make use of its elevated location.
“It was designed to include three wings, allowing each apartment above ground level to have a view of the Brisbane Water,” Central Element’s, Andrew Dixon, said.
“You feel like you’re on Brisbane Water, which is amazing.
“We drove the design vision to reality by ensuring that it was delivered with a high level of quality,” Dixon said.
