St Peter’s Catholic College Tuggerah’s Girls Rugby 7’s team were treated to the opportunity of a lifetime, when they were selected as one of the teams to play the halftime match during the Wallabies versus Ireland Test Match, at Allianz Stadium, on June 23.
St Peter’s and Nyngan High School were the two exceptional teams chosen to face off in the half time match in front of a record crowd of over 44,000 people. The match was also streamed by Rugby Australia. The girls did their school and community proud, storming home the victors, 2 to nil.
