Gosford Sister City Association will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Gosford’s Sister City Friendship with Edogawa, Japan, until July 10.
A display of photographs of members celebrating visits to Edogawa, and friends from Edogawa visiting Gosford, will be located at the Foyer Gallery, outside Erina Library. The exhibition will also include a signed quilt made by Edogawa Guides many years ago, and wall hangings given to members. “We invite you to visit the display,” said, Ms Margaret Hardy, of the Gosford Sister City Association. “Also being celebrated is International Sister Cities Day, held July 5 each year,” she said. “Our lovely Japanese Garden at East Gosford was donated to the people of Gosford by Edogawa City, and we enjoy friendship with the people of Edogawa, as well as the peacefulness of the Garden.”
