Circa Contemporary Circus brings Wolfgang to life

These school holidays, get little theatre lovers into Wolfgang, a school holiday circus show with a classical twist, coming to The Art House, Wyong, on July 19 and 20.

In a show perfect for kids aged 3 plus, children will meet a backflipping acrobat called Wolfgang, but not just any Wolfgang, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Straight from the score and onto the stage, the man known as Mozart appears in a puff of power, ready to throw musical madness into a crescendo of dives, swoops and twirls. Wolfgang reinvents Mozart’s incredible music for a young audience, and with plenty of fun to keep little ones entertained.

With a live musician onstage, Mozart and friends bring together acrobats, movement and music in a brand-new show which introduces a whole new generation to the music of one of the world’s great composers. Circa Contemporary Circus is one of the world’s leading performance companies. Since 2004, from its base in Brisbane, Circa has toured the world, performing in 39 countries to over a million people. Circa’s works have been greeted with standing ovations, rave reviews and sold-out houses across six continents.
