A 57-year-old man, who allegedly indecently exposed himself to a number of people at various locations across Wyong, has been refused bail.
Tuggerah Lakes Police alleged that on April 4, the man allegedly approached a 19-year old man in the public toilet at Wyong Railway Station at around 9:10am and exposed himself.
The younger man ran from the block and alerted police.
A short time later, the man then approached a woman near a licensed premise on the Pacific Hwy in the main street of Wyong, and indecently assaulted her.
She called for help and the man ran into bushland nearby. The man then wandered down the Pacific Hwy towards Tuggerah at
about 10:30am, where he exposed himself at a car yard and committed an
indecent act.
Police were called and officers from Police Transport Command arrested the man.
He was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with nine offences, including three counts of assault with an act of indecency, two counts of offensive behaviour, two counts of malicious damage, assaulting and intimidating police.
He appeared in Wyong Local Court on the same day, where he was refused bail and remanded in custody.
