Approval has been given for the construction of multi-unit industrial buildings, associated car parking, signage and a strata subdivision at 12 Pioneer Ave, Tuggerah.
The approval is for the staged construction of a four-building, multiunit-development on 1.26 hectares within the Tuggerah Business Park, and within a B7 Business Park zoning in which light industrial buildings are permissible. According to the Statement of Environmental Effect lodged in support of the application “The proposal offers an opportunity to provide highly-desirable and affordable building options for future occupants. “The floor plan and size of the units offer a product that is absent from the estate and adjoining industrial land. “The site allows for an opportunity to improve the current small industrial unit supply which is highly desirable within the area to help support smaller trades and businesses.” The buildings will consist of concrete tilt panel construction with a metal roof.
