Two schools receive over $600,000 for maintenance works

Henry Kendall High School and Valley View Public School have been named as two of the nine schools to receive a portion of $2m maintenance funding over these summer holidays.
Henry Kendall High School will receive $319,781 in funds and Valley View Public School will receive $285,431 for maintenance projects.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast, Mr Scot MacDonald MLC, welcomed the investment in local schools.
“Every child deserves to have access to great facilities, wonderful teachers and get an excellent education, and that is what we are delivering for school students on the Central Coast,” Mr MacDonald said.
Education Minister, Mr Rob Stokes, said this program is another example of how this government is committed to public education and delivering local infrastructure to support communities right across NSW.
“We are making good use of the summer break to carry out important projects while students are off enjoying their holidays.” Mr Stokes said
