At about 8:50pm on December 26, Tuggerah Lakes Highway Patrol detected a Suzuki GSX motorcycle travelling at 110km/hr in the sign posted 60km/hr zone on the Central Coast Highway, Bateau Bay.
The cycle was stopped and the 41-year-old male rider was spoken to.
He had never held a rider’s licence, the cycle was unregistered and uninsured, and it was displaying unauthorised number plates.
Traffic infringement notices totalling $7,328 and 12 demerit points were issued.
