St Peter’s Catholic College, Tuggerah, Year 8 student, Lucy Parle, won the Youth Category at the Australian Song Writer’s Association Awards.
The Australian Songwriters Association is a national, non-profit, member organisation, dedicated to the support of songwriters and their art, through providing avenues for encouragement and education of developing Australian songwriters, and recognition and promotion of Australian music.
Parle was announced as the Youth winner at the awards ceremony on November 23, and performed her song “Always”, in front of a packed contingent of some of the nation’s brightest up and coming artists, and some of the most established names in the industry.
