The Central Coast International Women’s Day Combined Committee, has announced that the very first Central Coast Festival of Women will take place in early 2018.
The Festival commences on February 23, with the BPW Central Coast Woman of the Year Awards Dinner.
The festival will conclude on March 11, with the annual International Women’s Day Breakfast, hosted by Soroptimist International Brisbane Water Inc.
The Festival will include a range of events and the organisers have invited small businesses and community groups to get involved and celebrate the everyday contributions women make to home, family, business, government and community.
A major event will be the International Women’s Day Expo on March 3, in the Centre Court at Erina Fair Shopping Centre.
This will be the fourth Expo on the Coast to highlight the participation of women in all areas of the community and in local, national and international affairs.
The event also provides opportunities to learn about women’s organisations on the Central Coast and how to get involved.
