Solar energy savings explained

The Central Coast Solar Meetup Group will provide advice about how to reduce energy costs when it meets at the Marine Discovery Centre on October 9.
The group is for those interested in discussing the financial side of solar PV cells and how to save money on electricity.
Those who attend will be shown how to calculate the financial return and find out if batteries make sense.
The new electricity tariffs and the impact of higher solar feed-in tariffs will also be discussed.
The Meetup is supported by the Central Coast Community Energy Association Inc (CCCE) and the Community Environment Network (CEN).
The Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre is located at 11 Terrigal Drive, Terrigal, in Rotary Park, next to Terrigal Lagoon.
The Meetup will run from 7:00pm to 8:30pm and bookings are essential.
