One of the most successful sporting fixtures in regional Australia, The Central Coast Rugby 7s competition starts this weekend October 28 with many local and international teams competing.
In what is billed as Australia’s toughest 7s competition outside the World Series. The competition has grown year on year lead by a highly competent organising team. This year the competition has even attracted teams from China, where the game is witnessing a rapid growth in popularity.
Playing legend Jesse Parahi says “Central Coast Sevens is easily the toughest tournament I’ve played in outside the Sevens World Series. The quality of teams that are queuing up to get a shot at the title speaks volumes about the “prestige” of the competition. It’s an exciting, fast paced, rugby event that is great fun for the whole family!”
In keeping with the innovative nature of the event most games will be live streamed over the internet in a partnership with BarTV. See the steaming channels here.
