Gosford Waterfront Alliance (GWA) has invited all candidates in the By-election for the State Seat of Gosford to participate in a ‘town hall style’ meeting on Friday, March 31.
The meeting will be an opportunity for the candidates to state their views on the future of the Gosford Waterfront, the potential to save the remaining two-thirds of the school site from sale to a private developer, and Council’s proposal to position a performing arts centre on the Leagues Club Field.
The meeting will also be a forum for candidates to state their position on community concerns about the management of Crown Land in the electorate.
The meeting will be held at the Gosford Anglican Church in Mann St, with doors opening at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start.
Each candidate will be given 10 minutes to address the meeting, specifically on the topics outlined by GWA.
All candidates who have RSVP’d to date has also said they are willing to accept questions from the floor.
