Woman dies in hospital amid 26 new cases and 25 exposure sites

Gosford Hospital has seen an increase in the number of elective surgeries performed

Friday, Sep 10, 2021: Central Coast Local Health District can confirm 26 news local cases and the death of a woman in her 50s who had tested positive to COVID-19. CCLHD said the woman had an underlying medical condition and passed away at Gosford Hospital on Thursday September 9.

The 26 additional local residents who have tested positive to COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm Thursday night.

Eighteen are linked to known cases. The source of infection for eight cases is under investigation. Seventeen cases were in the community while infectious.

  1. It’s been reported that over 100k people on the Central Coast haven’t had their 1st vaccination yet. It’s hard to believe that people can have so little common sense. THIS IS WHY THE CENTRAL COAST HAS MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY A RELAXATION OF THE COVID RESTRICTIONS THAT OTHER REGIONAL AREAS ARE NOW EXPERIENCING…!!!
