Central Coast Council will host a series of Green Living Workshops in October.
The workshops will provide practical hands on advice for interested locals on how to refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose and recycle in their day to day lives. The first workshops will take place on Saturday, October 20, at Point Clare Community Hall. Composting and Worm Farming will take place from 9am followed by Organic Gardening from 12pm.
Keeping Backyard Chickens workshop will take place on Tuesday, October 23, at Erina Library, from 9am. Buttonderry Waste Management Facility will host the final workshops, taking place on Wednesday, October 24. Up first at Buttonderry is Composting and Worm Farming from 9am, followed by No Waste and Chemical Free Household from 12pm. Each household that attends one of the Composting and Worm Farming workshops will receive a free worm farm or compost bin to help them get started.
