Valley View Public School’s Girls Touch Football team beat Point Clare Public School when they clashed at Adcock Park on Monday, August 7.
“All of their hard-work, training and dedication clearly paid off on the day, walking away victorious 4-1,” Valley View Principal, Ms Mary Hunt, said.
“Whilst the conditions weren’t perfect, with the wind at times blowing a gale, they persevered and dominated play for most of the match.
“They displayed excellent team work and communication skills throughout the match and always supported each other.
“Our girls are now due to play Kariong Public School in the coming weeks.
“We wish them all the best.
“Congratulations on displaying outstanding skills on and off the pitch,” Ms Hunt concluded.
