Australia should not be for sale

Letter to the editor

I am writing to the newspaper in regard to the closing of all our industries in this country, and I ask when is the government going to act on our behalf?

In the last 20 years, overseas corporations have closed our country down for the cheap labour in Asia. The nation has no choice but to tell these corporations that this country is not for sale. It is about time that all governments in our country act for the benefit of our nation. It is no wonder that the British have voted to get out of the European Union. Over the past 30 years, successive governments have allowed our nation to be sold off. My question is when are they going to stop this from happening?
