Never let facts get in the way of a bleeding-heart story, especially one riddled with misinformation.
As usual The Greens MPs have no idea or grasp of reality when it comes to international issues.
So Cath Connor of The Greens (CCN 506), here is exactly why your continued rallies and protests are at odds with reality.
Firstly there never has been a Palestinian State; it was a minor part of the Ottoman Empire until being handed to the British in 1947.
Judaism began in 2000BC, some 2,600 years before Islam in 630AD.
Jerusalem is the birthplace of the Jewish faith, along with Christianity, as well as being a significant site for Islam.
At present more than two million Palestinians (21% of Israel population) live peacefully in Israel as Israeli citizens.
Furthermore you continually seem to forget that it was the Hamas Palestinians who carried out the barbaric attack on innocent Israeli civilians that started this current conflict.

Aboriginals were in Australia for 50,000 years before the English came, so by your logic, pack it up and leave Australia please.
When two people are both wrong in an argument, neither is right. However, one person can still be more wrong than the other.
Hamas has committed no shortage of war crimes during this conflict, especially since 7th Oct 2023. The same, of course, can be said of Israel. However, the Palestinian death toll is over 30 times higher than the Israeli.
I do not support Hamas in this conflict. I do not support Israel in this conflict.
Two additional things worth remembering on top of the above facts:
1. Israel has illegally occupied Gaza and the West Bank since 1967 (possibly excluding the time since 2005 when Hamas has been in power, depending on your definitions).
2. When a Labour Prime Minister (Yitzhak Rabin) of Israel attempted to end Palestinian occupation in the early 90s, Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party organised the protests that led to Rabin’s assassination. Think about that one for a moment.
Theo,
Those comments are incorrect and probably come misinformation.
When the borders of Israel were created with resolution 181 by the United Nations in 1947, Israel declared its independence and within hours, Jordan invaded the West Bank, Egypt invaded the Gaza strip, with Lebanon, Iraq and Syria attacking Israel from all directions.
Israel went to war with both Jordan and Egypt and was the victor (regaining the territorial borders which encompass the West Bank and Gaza and per resolution 181) then Syria and Lebanon surrendered later in 48/49.
It should be noted that the Arab people of Gaza rejected a two state partition (Israel and Palestine/Gaza) under resolution 181.
Is Barry LLOYD a Central Coast spokesman?
I totally agree James. I mean seriously I have had it with the way Israel has devolved.
