Bianca Galic leaves Mariners

Bianca Galic

Bianca Galic has left the Central Coast Mariners as she moves on to new challenges.

Galic joined the Mariners ahead of their return season on a two-year contract.

Coach Emily Husband had worked with the midfielder previously, despite her missing the 2022/23 campaign through injury.

A hard-working, reliable and consistent performer over her two years with the Mariners, Galic leaves as the Mariners’ record A-League Women’s appearance holder with 42.

As vice-captain, she deputised for her friend and captain Taren King throughout her lengthy injury.

In the return season, Galic was the only player to start every single A-League fixture.

That consistency saw her win an historic award at the 2024 Mariners Medal Dinner, when she took away the first ever Women’s Mariners Medal as well as the 2023/24 Goal of the Season for a long-range strike in Perth.

Galic enjoyed further incredible on-field moments with the Mariners in 2024/25, including her decisive shoot-out penalty against Melbourne Victory, to clinch the club’s first ever A-League Women’s Championship.
