Crushed by car at Tuggerah

The rescue helicopter landed at the Tuggerah sports oval

A woman aged in her 80s was flown to hospital by Westpac Rescue Helicopter after being crushed by a car at Tuggerah.

The woman was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team for head, pelvis and leg injuries before being transported to John Hunter Hospital.

Emergency services were called to Anzac Rd, Tuggerah at about 1.30pm on Sunday, June 22, when the woman was injured after her car moved as she was in the process of getting out and the vehicle rolled over her.
